The Tormek HTK-705 Hand Tool Kit Description

This equipment contains 5 jigs for sharpening your knives, scissors, and axes in addition to brief chisel and carving devices. The Knife Jig is for most knives, width 45mm (1-3/4"), minimal blade length 60mm (2-3/8"). Long knives want to be stiff. Also for carvers draw knives. Long Knife Jig is for long and flexible knives, minimal blade length 160mm (6-3/8"). The 140mm (5-1/2") width of the jig stabilizes a skinny blade. Scissors Jig works for scissors of all sizes and shears. Also appropriate for transportable electric hand planer blades. The Short Tool Jig is for straight shanked carving gouges and V-tools right down to 45mm (1-3/4") size, quick timber chisels, and gears for power carvers. Maximum tool width is 3mm (1-1/4"). The Axe Jig works for carving and carpenters axes.
