Used them to drill two 1/8 inch diameter gaps in non-tempered window glass. This should be achieved slowly to avoid overheating and probably fracturing the glass. Used a couple of totally different bits to vary shapes in the hope of creating it go sooner. When executed, the outlets were wonderful and the entire bits still seemed to have their abrasive surfaces.

I've learn somewhere else that an exceptional diamond bit will remaining for in all probability three holes just like these, and that it takes about two minutes to make one gap. Well, it took about half-hour per gap, however more than 1 of 2 of that point was once spent pausing to let the glass and bit cool off. Since the entire bits still have diamond grit on them, it appears seemingly that they may have the power to make a few more gaps sooner than carrying out.

NOTE: Tempered glass probably will shatter if drilled. This window didn't have a "tempered" emblem within the nook and seemed commonplace when viewed through polarized sunglasses.
